EAM Consulting Links up with Pontypridd RFC

Gareth Howells, Sponsorship & Marketing manager for Pontypridd RFC was delighted to announce that EAM Consulting would be a new sponsor for the 2010-11 season.

EAM Consulting demonstrated its commitment to the local community by sponsoring two Pontypridd RFC players for the forthcoming season.

Speaking about the sponsorship, EAM Consulting's owner, Mark Lees said: "As a locally based company within the Rhondda we are committed to finding ways of supporting the community that is situated around our business. When we were approached by Gareth and Pontypridd RFC we felt that this was an ideal opportunity to do exactly that. We hope that this initial sponsorship will develop into a long term relationship that is of benefit not only to the club and our business, but also the local community."

EAM Consulting Make an Olympic Effort!

2012.jpg

Not by planning to compete in the Games - we are a little too advanced in years for that. Instead, we have been approached to write Operating and Maintenance manuals for three of the buildings currently under construction at one of the Olympic venues.

The proposed buildings are very large and the work involved in producing not only the O&M manuals, but also the corresponding Health and Safety files and Building Log Books is a task of equal scale.

EAM Consulting Push for Overseas Business

As the demand for our Technical Writing services grows, we have again started to target specific overseas markets where we have identified a good match with local needs and the services we can offer.

We are receiving ongoing assistance from both International Business Wales (IBW) and UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) in our efforts to expand our overseas client base.

We have already entered into discussions with a machine manufacturer in the Iberia region with a view to producing English versions of instruction and operating manuals, and over the next few months we are optimistic about securing new clients in the Nordic region.

As always, if you have any technical writing or authoring requirements please feel free to contact us to discuss your needs in more detail. Contact details can be found on our website: www.eamconsulting.co.uk

EAM Consulting Supports Enterprise in Focus Programme

Mid Glamorgan Education Business Partnership (EBP) works with schools on a range of employer related projects. These projects help to raise achievement in schools, raise awareness of business and develop employability skills in young people.

EAM Consulting is very pleased to be able to support Mid Glamorgan EBP by participating in their Enterprise in Focus scheme. The scheme gives local employers the opportunity to work with pupils to help them find out what is involved in setting up and running a business - from developing an initial business plan through to aspects like production, marketing and finance.
